    Google just launched a trial of a new service that offers free long distance. http://bit.ly/c2x86w Their new phone calling feature integrates pretty seamlessly (it is almost too hidden) with their GMail service and pops up a little dial pad on your screen. . Basically free long distance in Canada and US for the rest of the year. Internationally it will cost you. I wonder what the Telcos think of this...
