Mail merge using Quattro Pro database

I want to do a mail merge, using a Quattro Pro database for the data file. I do not find an option to link the WordPerfect form document directly to the QPW database. Neither do I see an option to save the QPW file as a DAT file.

Am I missing something, or do I have to copy and paste the information from the database into WordPerfect to create the DAT file?

In the mail merge dialog >Data Source drop-down - there is an option to select a Quattro Pro file.
