I used to use this macro, cvtdocs.wcm, in X3 to convert a series of folders and subfolders containing M$ Word files into WordPerfect v13.

Now I've upgraded to X6 and the macro dies converting subfolders. It will convert files in one folder, but that is not right for me.

Is this something that can be examined in the macro or is it a bug that Corel should fix?

Thanks for your attention.

Hi there,

I've looked into the macro and there is an issue with the code for sub-folder conversions.  I've made changes to fix the issue and it will be available in the next public patch for X6.  In the meantime, I have uploaded the updated macro file to the following location here on the site:

Let me know if this solves your issue!

Hello Jason Hoskins!

Success! The macro successfully processed all the files in the folder and subfolders. Thank you very much for fixing this!

The only issue that remains is that when specifying the WordPerfect results folder, the macro will not create the folder as specified; one must first create the folder by hand. The version in the X3 suite could correctly create the macro specified and deposit all the converted files there. But this could be a minor fix, small, but very well appreciated.

Thanks again!
