Hi,
Is it not pretty easy to add support for other email programs? I would think it just used the default application for opening/creating new emails. If that is not the case, I hope as much effort will be put into supporting email clients other than Outlook or Outlook Express. Personally, I am stuck with Outlook at work, but in the past have also had to use Lotus Notes or Groupwise. At home, I mostly use Thunderbird on Windows (and occasionally some other less mainstream clients), and Evolution, Kmail, or Thunderbird on Linux.
I mention Linux because I hope that if you go through the effort of porting to Mac you will at least be willing to recompile it for Linux and/or FreeBSD.
I haven't really completely figured out how I am going to use Lightning, but for now it's a wonderful PDF viewer.
Thanks for releasing it without cost. Now if I could just get WordPerfect for a new low price ....
Have a great week!
