How do i disable the mouse moving margins?
50% of the time when i attempt to place the cursor at the beginning of the line the margin gets grabbed and moved.
Where are the settings to control mouse actions?
I prefer to have the cursor active only in text, rather than in text and white space. With that option selected, you won’t usually wind up using the mouse to place the cursor against the margin. Go to Tools | Settings | Display | Active In, and choose the radio button for Text.
I tend to use keystrokes such as the Home key, Ctrl + Home, Ctrl + End, and so forth, for getting around. The last section of the Help file, "Streamlining tasks..." lists shortcut keys and has a section "To use navigation shortcut keys."
Click View > Guidelines.... then uncheck "Drag to move guidelines" (This is in reference to your original query.)

Similarly to my other response. Click View > Guidelines and uncheck Margins. However, even if the margin guidelines are not visible, you can still drag them with the mouse.
So if your goal is to do what the subject says, ".... disable the mouse moving margins" uncheck "Drag to move guidelines" as I posted earlier.
